The original Guarneri "Heifetz, ex David" has been made around 1740. Its body shape has the classic Guarneri C bout shape, while the F holes on this particular violin are less extreme as on other instruments from this Great Master.

Edgar Russ loves the challenge to make a copy of one of the most famous Great Masters. During the process of construction Master Russ understands every imperfections made by Giuseppe Guarneri and in this very moment he feels very close to the violins origin.
